VEGAN SPAGUETTI CARBONARA WITH BLACK GARLIC

This vegan carbonara with black garlic is super creamy, it definitely taste like cheese 🙂

The black garlic brings a nice caramel taste into the plate, I find this vegan spaghetti carbonara with black garlic is full of goodness, super yummy and a lot healthier that the original carbonara recipe.

You can really enjoy it without feeling guilty as it is just basically cashews and nutritional yeast on the carbonara sauce, it is actually loaded of vitamin B.

VEGAN SPAGUETTI CARBONARA WITH BLACK GARLIC RECIPE


INGREDIENTS:


250g spaghetti

3 tbsp olive oil

a pinch of salt

4 black garlic cloves

for the carbonara sauce:

1 cup cashews

1/2 cup water

3 tbsp nutritional yeast

a sun dried tomato

a pinch of salt

a pinch of pepper


preparation time: 10 minutes

total time: 20 minutes

serving size: 4 serves


METHOD:


Let´s start by cooking the spaghetti, in boiling water, add the spaghetti and follow the time instructions according with the product.

Once, cooked, drain it and add some olive oil and salt.

To prepare the vegan carbonara, add to a food processor the cashews, water, nutritional yeast, sun dried tomato, salt and pepper, blend until you get a creamy consistency.

In a large pan or pot mix the spaghetti with the carbonara sauce and the chopped black garlic cloves, cook at high heat for 5 minutes or so, then serve.
