VEGAN GUIDE TO COPENHAGEN

I have to start this post saying that I am in love with Copenhaguen, is a city with tons of history, the people is polite and welcome and you can find a countless variety of vegan alternatives.

The places that I mentioned below are some of the places that I enjoyed in Copenhaguen to eat vegan but I think for sure that must be more vegan places to go, please leave me comments below with your recommendations as I know that for sure I´ll go visit Copenhaguen again.

GRØDJægersborggade 50, 2200 København N

Is the perfect place to have breakfast, we just had the best breakfast of our lifes. The porridge bowls are huge, full of toppings and the chia jars are incredible too. The flavours were amazing, the local is really cozy and it has a lovely terrace, so you could enjoy your breakfast inside or outside.

We went there to have breakfast two different days, the first day we ordered chia puddings, the flavours were rich and fresh, just perfection in a jar. For sure I´ll make an inspiration recipe based on their chia pudding.

Our last day in Copenhaguen we went for breaktast to this place too, we ordered porridge bowls, each bite had something new and different, so tasty!

The coffee is really good too and the chai latte is amazing! Just love this place

I recommend this place for breakfast but I think it has to be amazing for lunch too as the smell from the kitchen in there was delicious.

GLOMAGASIN DU NORD, Kongens Nytorv 13, 1095 København K

It was a pleasant surprise to find this place at the basement of the Magasin du Nord Mall, it has a variety of vegan alternatives.

We had a piece of snikers pie and brownie pie along with a cold press beetroot juice, the sniker pie was my favourite one.

RIZRAZKompagnistræde 20, 1208 København

We recommend this place to go for lunch, it has vegan and non vegan food, if you go for the vegan alternative you´ll have lots of choices. Three different types of hummus, falafel, baked veggies, salads… If you are in a budget it is really good as you can eat as much as you´d like for the same price.

SOULSMelchiors Pl. 3, 2100 København Ø

Our second day we went for breakfast to this place, it is a big local, really bright and cozy. The staff was lovely, really nice and helpful.

We had the brunch plate, cashew yoghurt, coffee and ginger lemon shots. This is one of my favourite places too, the breakfast was delicious and I enjoy the lovely ginger shots, it came with a slice of apple, so good!

If you are looking for a restaurant with raw recipes, this will be your favourite one. They are super quick serving, the place is nice, not too big, we had lunch in here.

We had a plate that came with zucchini spaguetti, and two different types of lasagna, we ordered pizza too. We had some chocolate desserts and beetroot latte and matcha latte.

The pizza dough was very good and I never though I could enjoy a beetroot latte as much as I did. So yummy!

It is a lovely place, the food is amazing. We went for dinner and we ordered some vegan hamburguer and sushi, really yum. For dessert we share the lemon cheesecake, it was fresh and delicious, I was really full but had to try it! 🙂

The staff was really nice, they took a bit of time to serve us, so to reward us they invite us to crispy kale chips, so tasty!

NICECREAM – Elmegade 30, 2200 København N

I still dream with this place, it must exists in every town of the world. I could never believe that was vegan and had chocolate mint nicecream.

Please if you go to Copenhaguen you have to try the Nicecream of this place. We had the cookie nicecream ones, the chocolate mint one and the lemon one. The cookie has chocolate chips, so delicious! the Nicecream is creamy and just perfect. Love it!

Please find below a map with a vegan guide in Copenhaguen, I added all the places to eat that I recommended above:

Hafnia Bar (especially the falalfel is amazing) & Cafe N (best vegan, greasy, creamy burger) are my favorite vegan places in CPH. You should also visit them next time.
