This is an ancient recipe of experiencing the benefits of turmeric. There are many recipes for golden milk, but I found this one the easiest and the most effective. This recipe involves mixing some almond milk, turmeric, coconut oil and black pepper. Is important to use high-quality organic turmeric in the milk preparation, to get the best of it.

Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its yellow colour, Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

A key to make sure that you fully absorb the turmeric benefits is having the turmeric with some fat, as turmeric is fat soluble. Curcumin by itself is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream, so it helps to consume black pepper with it, which contains piperine a natural substance that enhances the absorption of curcumin by 2000%.

This month this golden milk tea recipe has been my favourite, the weather in England has been very unstable, so to avoid summer colds when I feel with low energy I take this golden milk tea for a week in the morning and at the end of the week I noticed with much more energized and stronger.
