SPICY AVOCADO ON TOAST

This avocado on toast is my favorite recipe, is easy, fulfilling, delicious and full of goodness.

I love this recipe because you can have it at any moment of the day, it feels so good.

Also, you can play around with the ingredients, I love spicy food and the combination with the balsamic vinegar glaze is so good.

What is your favorite avocado on toast combination?


INGREDIENTS:


an avocado

2 tbsp chopped red onion

fresh oregano

a tbsp olive oil

a pinch of Himalayan salt

a pinch of ground pepper

the juice of half of a lime

some balsamic vinegar glaze

a pinch of chili flakes

6 cherry tomatoes in halves

2 bread slices


preparation time: 10 minutes

total time: 10 minutes

serving size: 2 serves


METHOD:

Preheat the oven to 200ºC and warm up the bread for around 5 minutes.

In a food processor blend the avocado, olive oil, salt, ground pepper and the juice of half o a lime.

Then in a bowl mix it with the onion, you want to have some texture.

To finish it all, add the avocado mix on top of the toast, and top it with some balsamic vinegar, oregano, chili flakes, and cherry tomatoes.
