HOW TO MAKE CHEESE ON TOAST

This cheese is so creamy and soft, love to add some veggies and use super crunchy bread, this is the most delicious vegan cheese on toast.

This yummy toast is full of goodness, you could add also olives or veggies that you like, so delicious, I could eat tons of these 🙂

This cheese on toast is great as a snack, appetizer or side dish, I love to have it as a side with a soup, such a great combo!

HOW TO MAKE VEGAN CHEESE ON TOAST WITH CASHEWS AND DELICIOUS VEGGIES


INGREDIENTS:


2 slices of bread

for the cheese:

1/2 cup salted cashews

1/3 cup water

a tbsp nutritional yeast

toppings:

a tbsp cooked green peas

a tbsp capers

4 slices of courgette

a pinch of pepper

a pinch chili flakes

a tbsp olive oil


preparation time: 5 minutes

total time: 15 minutes

serving size: 1


METHOD:


Start by toasting the bread in the oven or in the toaster.

To make the creamy cheese simply mix all the ingredients listed for the creamy cheese in a blender.

Pour 3 tbsp of the creamy cheese on top of each slice of bread, then top it with courgette, green peas, capers, pepper, chili and sprinkle some olive oil.
