DIY BODY SCRUB WITH COCONUT OIL, LAVENDER AND ROSE

Hi guys! I am so excited to share this beautiful recipe. I’ve been trying a lot of new vegan and non toxic skin beauty brands, I’ve got so excited that I just made my own diy body scrub with coconut oil, lavender, rose, calendula and Himalayan salt.

This diy body scrub smells so delicate and delicious, I love the fact that you can eat it! A bit salty LOL but 100% natural and cruelty free.

If you have dry skin like mine this body scrub will work wonders. The coconut oil will leave your skin super soft and the lavender and calendula will calm redness.

With the ingredients below you will get a cup size of body scrub so it will last approximately 2 months I guess if you use it once or twice per week.

I really hope you like it!

INGREDIENTS:

a cup of fine Himalayan pink salt

a cup of coconut oil

20 drops of lavender essential oil

a tbsp dried rose petals

a tbsp calendula

preparation time: 5 minutes

total time: 5 minutes

METHOD:

Start by melting the coconut oil at low temperature in a small casserole, once melted add the rose, lavender and calendula and cook it for around 2 minutes at low temperature until you get a nice smell from the rose, lavender and calendula.

Then add the Himalayan pink salt, mix it well and pour it in a glass container, leave it to cool it down and then you can enjoy it, perfect for at home spa or for Sundays, any moment is good!
