It really was about time to experiment with the homemade banana popsicles, I saw banana ice-cream in lots of vegan blogs and I was so excited to get through summer months just to make it .The texture of these popsicles is similar than a smoothie, is really soft and of course sweet, is has the perfect combination of ingredients, once you bite the popsicle, it melts in your mouth! So amazing!
I am so happy I have a healthy alternative easy to make with clean organic ingredients. All the family can have them and at any time, because is just made of fruits that are really good for your body.
3 bananas
1 cup of blueberry
3 tablespoons of Maple syrup – You can add more for extra-sweetness
4 teaspoons of coconut flakes
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 hours
Total Time: 5 hours, 10 minutes
Serving Size: 4 serves
1 Pour in a high-speed blender the bananas, ½ cup of blueberries and the Maple syrup, blend until you get a soft consistency.
2 Put in each popsicle mold one teaspoon of coconut flakes, then add in each mold one tablespoon of blueberries and the fill with the smoothie that we just made.
3 Place the wooden sticks in each mold.
4 Freeze until is firm it will take around four hours, you can make them in the evening and leave it overnight.
